Sidhu Ghee
Sidhu Ghee is a signature recipe.
INGREDIENTS
Atta: 600 gms | Poppy Seeds: 250 gms | Yeast: 5 gms | Sale: To Taste |
Ginger: 50 gms | Chopped Onion: 100 gms | Zeera: 5gms | Green Chilly: 10 gms |
Garlic: 10 gms | Onion: 50 gms | Garam Masala Powder: 5 gms | Red Powder: 5 gms |
Green Coriander Chopped: 50 gms | Desi Ghee: 100 gms |
METHOD
- Dissolve yeast is warm water and keep aside till raised. make dough with wheat flour adding raised yeast.and keep for 2 hours for fermentation. Check the dough should be light and floppy.
- Braise poppy seeds on a griddle pan and soak for 25 minutes. In a grinder/blender, grind the poppy seed mix with finely chopped green chilli, chopped coriander, ginger and garlic. Add salt to the paste.
- Make equal balls of the atta dough. Stuff with poppy seeds paste. Turn on hot tawa. Now steam the siddhu in a streamer till well done (floppy and light). Served with Desi Ghee.
